What is Hub104?Hub104 is a fantastic initiative, providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for secondary school students in the Boroughmuir area and beyond. This free, volunteer-run youth café offers a relaxed space for teenagers to unwind, socialize, and have fun after a busy school week.
Held every Friday afternoon, Hub104 is packed with activities like games and opportunities to connect with peers. Entry is free, though students are welcome to bring a small amount of money to enjoy pizza, drinks, or snacks from the tuck bar, which is slightly subsidised to keep prices affordable. Every second week, we run Club104 as part of the café. This includes group games and a short, faith-based talk, reflecting the café’s mission to inspire and encourage young people to explore their potential. The café is supported by a passionate team of youth workers who actively participate in activities, chat with attendees, and provide a welcoming presence throughout. |
Information for Parents
Hub104 is an initiative of Kings Church Edinburgh. We are a community of people who love Jesus and are passionate about blessing the city of Edinburgh.
Our team is appropriately recruited, trained, and supported as they work with young people from our city. This includes adhering to high standards of good practice, completing child protection training, and holding membership of the PVG scheme. We enjoy working in partnership with parents, local organisations, and professionals to help young people reach their potential.
