The young people from King's Church and Hub104 are heading to Newday: a six day event for young people with youth groups from across the UK. We've been going for a number of years, and it's great!
Newday is a Christian festival - young people will have the opportunity to take part in main meetings (think Church meets a rock concert). There's something for every age, and all activities (other than sleep, washing and meals) are optional. There are loads of opportunities to relax and make new friends in the cafés, through our programme of sports, games, music and creative arts. It's our hope that those who go along will have a great time, have loads of fun, understand a bit more about Jesus, and be part of a great community for the week. Our team of supported and trained youthworkers care for and lead the 10-15 young people who go with us each year. |

Yes. Gemma will have a phone all week, which parents and young people can use to stay in touch with each other. There are also a small number of charging points on the site for young people's phones.
